WHY THE POCKET 5 STANDS OUT
Many magnetic power banks charge over a wireless pad, which gives up energy as heat. The POCKET 5 keeps the magnetic snap-on hold and sends power down a USB-C wire, so charging runs faster and cooler.
A 3.87V high-voltage cell delivers 154.8mWh/g energy density and 3,400mAh of rated energy at 5V. That is roughly 21% more than the typical 2,800mAh from a standard 5,000mAh magnetic power bank, by Nitecore Lab testing.
An IPX7 waterproof rating and a V0 flame-retardant aluminium alloy housing mean a rain shower, a damp backpack pocket or a splash by the sink are all handled in stride.
Certified to the UN38.3 transport standard, and at 19.35Wh it sits well under the 100Wh carry-on limit for commercial flights. Pack it in your carry-on and move through security with one less question.

The POCKET 5 slides into a front jeans pocket and disappears. At 9mm (0.35") thick it adds barely any bulk when it is magnetically attached, sitting close to the profile of a slim case.
The aluminium alloy housing does double duty. It gives a clean bare-metal feel and pulls heat away from the cell during charging, so the surface stays comfortable in your hand under sustained output.

Both the built-in USB-C cable (C2) and the USB-C port (C1) deliver up to 22.5W on their own, with PD, QC3.0 and SCP fast-charge support. Use one for your phone and the other for a friend's, charging both at the same time at up to 15W total.
Input runs at 18W max through either connection, so you can refill the POCKET 5 from a wall adapter using the built-in cable, or plug a separate cable into the USB-C port.

In Nitecore Lab testing that works out to 3,400mAh of rated energy at 5V, roughly 21% more than the 2,800mAh average from a standard pack of the same headline capacity. In practical terms that 3,400mAh is enough to carry a typical smartphone battery from low back up to a full charge, which is the top-up most commuters reach for on the way home.
A magnetic grip past 10N, with no alignment to fuss over.
The POCKET 5 snaps to the back of your phone and stays put. Bring it close and it pulls itself into the right position on its own, so one-handed attachment is effortless.
In Nitecore Lab testing with an iPhone 17 (177g) as the reference, the grip held about 1,000g, roughly the weight of 5.6 iPhones stacked together. That keeps the pack locked on while you walk, scroll or slip your phone into a jacket.
Magnetic here means physical attachment only. The POCKET 5 does not charge wirelessly. All power runs through wired USB-C, which is faster and more efficient.

iPhone: Snaps straight onto any MagSafe-compatible iPhone, bare or in a MagSafe case, with no adapter needed.
Android: Attaches with a magnetic case. A magnetic ring is included in the box, so you can add snap-on support to a case that needs it.
Either way, the built-in cable does the charging, so the magnetic hold simply keeps the pack tidy against your phone while it works.
IPX7 waterproof and V0 flame-retardant.
The POCKET 5 takes the conditions that end most power banks. An IPX7 rating covers heavy rain, an accidental puddle drop and a damp backpack pocket, with multiple layers of waterproof protection across the internal components and the external seams.
The housing uses V0 flame-retardant material, the highest UL 94 class for resistance to ignition. Together with the sealing, that makes for a pack built to shrug off everyday knocks, moisture and temperature swings.
The POCKET 5 is not designed for underwater use. Dry it thoroughly if it has been submerged.
An MCU and dual NTC thermistors managing 9 layers of protection.
A dedicated microcontroller watches charging and discharging in real time, paired with two NTC thermistors for precise temperature sensing.
Together they cover overcurrent, intelligent thermal, optimised charge and discharge, short-circuit, over-discharge, button, overcharge, accurate power indication and overvoltage protection.
The 4-LED indicator gives a clear read on remaining charge, and the POCKET 5 runs across an operating range of -10°C to 35°C (14°F to 95°F).
