IP68, double O-ring, pressure-tested. The DL30 is rated submersible to 100 m and carries a third-party 100 m submersible test certificate, so the depth claim is verified rather than assumed. Two spare O-rings come in the box, which lets you swap a seal as part of your post-dive service routine.
Care is simple. Rinse the light in fresh water after every saltwater dive and keep the O-ring grooves clean and lightly greased, and the seal stays reliable dive after dive.
A Body That Handles Saltwater
Aero grade aluminium with a hard-anodized shell. The DL30 is machined from aero grade aluminium alloy and finished in HAIII hard-anodizing, the durable surface that stands up to knocks against a wreck and the corrosive bite of salt water. A thickened tempered glass lens with a double-sided coating protects the LED and keeps light transmission high.
Rated for a 1 m impact. Drops onto a boat deck or a rocky entry are part of diving, and the DL30 is impact resistant to 1 m for that kind of routine knock.

Know Your Remaining Power at a Glance
A colour ring around the button shows your charge. The circular power indicator glows blue from 70 to 100 percent, green from 30 to 70, red from 5 to 30, and flashes red below 5 percent. You read your remaining runtime in a glance underwater and plan your turn before the light runs low.

Up to 6 hours on a single charge. The included NITECORE NL2153R 21700 battery holds 5,300 mAh, giving 2 hours at full 1,100 lumens or 6 hours at 350 lumens, enough for a full day of dives at a sensible setting.
